Man Succumbs to Injuries 12 Days After Stray Dog Attack in Budgam

Beerwah, Mar 11, KNT: A 30-year-old man who was attacked by a stray dog 12 days ago in Beerwah town of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district succumbed to his injuries.

The incident had occurred while he was on his way to the fields when the dog attacked him. Despite receiving treatment at SKIMS for 12 days, he succumbed to his injuries.

The deceased has been identified as Parvez Ahmed a resident of Hardalatana village.

The death has triggered outrage among locals, who are demanding urgent action to tackle the increasing stray dog menace. Locals have urged authorities to implement sterilization, vaccination, and relocation measures to prevent such attacks. [KNT]
