Medical shop sealed in connection with NDPS Act in Rajouri

Jammu — Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday sealed a medical shop in connection with NDPS case in Nowshera area of Rajouri district.

Acting on an ongoing investigation into case FIR No. 24/2025 under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act a police team from Police Station Nowshera conducted a search at M/S Malik Shah Pharmacy a medical shop located near SDH Hospital Nowshera.

The search carried out with the assistance of the Drug Control Officer Nowshera and under the authority of a Hon’ble Court-issued warrant revealed violations of relevant laws.

Consequently the medical shop owned by the arrested accused Ankit Kumar S/O Suresh Kumar resident of Ward No. 5 Nowshera has been closed under Section 22(d) of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act until further orders.

Further investigation into the case is ongoing. — (KIMS)
