Vaccination Drive for Haj Pilgrims 2025 Held in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, April 21: A special vaccination drive for Haj Pilgrims 2025 was successfully conducted today at Town Hall Ganderbal. The drive was formally inaugurated by the esteemed Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Deputy CMO, District Immunization Officer (DIO), and Block Medical Officer (BMO), in the presence of officers and officials from the health department.

A total of 63 pilgrims received vaccinations at the Town Hall site. In addition to this, parallel drives were also held at Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kangan and Primary Health Centre (PHC) Lar, ensuring wide coverage across the district.

Medical officers were actively involved in screening pilgrims and providing awareness about the importance of vaccination, ensuring that the community is well-informed and protected ahead of the sacred journey.

The health department’s proactive initiative highlights its commitment to public health and the well-being of Haj pilgrims from the district.
