Hajj 2025: First Flight from Srinagar to Depart on May 4; Over 3,300 Pilgrims from J&K to Perform Hajj

Srinagar, Apr 25: The sacred journey of Hajj 2025 is set to begin from Jammu and Kashmir with the first flight scheduled to take off from Srinagar International Airport on May 4, 2025. The inaugural flight, operated by SpiceJet, will carry 178 pilgrims and marks the beginning of this year’s Hajj pilgrimage from the Union Territory.

As per the official schedule, the flight will depart from Srinagar International Airport at 10:25 AM and land at Fujairah International Airport, Saudi Arabia at 2:55 PM. From there, the flight will resume its journey at 3:55 PM, reaching Madina International Airport by 6:55 PM the same day.

After the first flight, no departures are scheduled on May 5, 6, and 13. Regular flights will resume from May 7, with 321 pilgrims scheduled to arrive in Madina daily. The schedule is as follows:

May 7: 321 pilgrims

May 8: 321 pilgrims

May 9: Two flights carrying a total of 642 pilgrims

May 10: 321 pilgrims

May 11: 321 pilgrims

May 12: 321 pilgrims

May 13: No flight

May 14: Two flights carrying 642 pilgrims

May 15: Final flight with 321 pilgrims

This year, a total of 3,388 pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir are set to perform Hajj, and SpiceJet has once again been roped in to facilitate their journey.

The Hajj Committee has ensured all necessary arrangements, including health check-ups, documentation, and logistical support, are in place to ensure a smooth experience for the pilgrims.
