JK News Live

SRINAGAR: The Haj Committee of India has extended the last date for online submission of Haj Application Forms (HAF) for Haj 2026 to 11:59 PM on August 7, 2025, citing numerous requests from various State and Union Territory Haj Committees, particularly from under-quota states and applicants awaiting passports currently under issuance. Authorities have clarified that no further extension will be granted under any circumstances.Online education

Vijayawada has been added as an additional Embarkation Point, taking the total number to 18. This change is effective from July 30, 2025. Pilgrims who have already submitted their application forms and wish to choose Vijayawada as their embarkation point may approach their respective State Haj Committees for necessary modifications.

The circular also states that the Qurrah (Digital Random Selection) process will take place shortly after the application window closes. All provisionally selected pilgrims will be required to pay an advance Haj amount of Rs 1,52,300 by August 20, 2025.

The Haj Committee has urged all State and Union Territory Haj Committees to disseminate this information widely to ensure maximum outreach and compliance.
