Budgam, Sep 02 : A special police officer lost his life after sustaining a fatal electric shock in Badipora Chadoora, area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday late night, officials said.
An official told news agency kashmir News Corner — (KNC) that, the deceased was identified as Bashir Ahmad Teli, 45-year-old, resident of Badipora, Chadoora, Budgam.
Bashir, who was serving as a Special Police Officer (SPO) in Jammu & Kashmir Police and posted at DPL Srinagar, was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, doctors declared him brought dead.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation started.—(KNC)
