GANDERBAL, NOVEMBER 21: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore today chaired a District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) meeting in his office chamber here for examining cases submitted under Mission YUVA scheme of the government and accord approval to the eligible beneficiaries.
At the outset, a detailed discussion was held regarding the applications received under the scheme. The committee deliberated upon the cases submitted through the Skill and Business Development Unit (SBDU) and, after thorough scrutiny and evaluation, approved 234 cases unanimously for financial and institutional support under the Mission YUVA initiative.
It is worth mentioning that, as of now 1204 applications have been approved by the DLIC out of the total 1772 applications received on the Mission YUVA Portal.
During the meeting, DC impressed upon the concerned authorities to ensure proper quality check of the applications.
DC also directed the concerned departments to expedite the process of sanctioning, disbursing benefits, and extending all necessary handholding support to the beneficiaries in a time-bound manner.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, AD Employment, Cluster Head J&K Bank and other concerned officers and officials.
