SAMBA, JANUARY 21: As part of the nationwide commemoration of 150 years of “Vande Mataram”, a grand rally was organized today at Samba under the Phase–II of the anniversary celebrations.

The rally was flagged off by the District Magistrate, Ayushi Sudan from Rani Suchet Singh Stadium. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of the government and private schools, who marched with patriotic fervour and discipline.

The rally culminated at the historic Samba Fort, symbolizing the region’s rich cultural and historical legacy. The students displayed banners and raised slogans reflecting national unity, patriotism and respect for the motherland.

Senior officers from the district administration were present on the occasion to encourage and support the participants. Prominent among them was Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jagdish Singh alongwith district and departmental officers.

The event was organized smoothly under the supervision of the district administration with all necessary arrangements and security measures in place. The rally aimed to instill a sense of patriotism and national pride among the younger generation while honoring the legacy and spirit of Vande Mataram.
