ADC Budgam reviews arrangements for JKSSB OMR-Based written examination

BUDGAM, FEBRUARY 26:- A meeting regarding the arrangements for OMR-Based Written Examination for the posts of Laboratory Attendants (Home Department) by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), scheduled to be held on 01-03-2026, was convened today at the New Conference Hall of DC Office Budgam.

The meeting was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Budgam, Mehraj-ud-Din Shah.

 Besides representatives from JKSSB, the meeting was attended by District Information Officer Budgam, representative of Assistant Regional Transport Officer Budgam, Centre Superintendents/Dy. Superintendents of all examination centres, Magistrates/Observers and Heads of Institutions of all designated examination centres.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding security arrangements, deployment of magistrates, traffic regulation, transportation facilities, seating plans, availability of basic amenities, and strict adherence to examination guidelines to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the examination.

The ADC stressed the importance of coordinated efforts among all stakeholders and directed the concerned officers to ensure foolproof arrangements well in advance. He emphasized transparency, maintaining strict vigil, and ensuring all necessary facilities for candidates appearing in the examination.

All departments were instructed to work in close coordination to ensure that the examination is conducted in a smooth, transparent and hassle-free manner across all centres in the district.
