KULGAM, MARCH 02: Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Shahzad Alam today visited Yaripora area to review the functioning of key government offices and assess healthcare services in the area.
During his inspection of the Tehsil Office, the DC examined mutation registers and Jamabandi records.
He reviewed the delivery of revenue services through Revenue Plus and the issuance of certificates under Jan-Sugam.
Emphasizing efficiency and accountability, he directed officials to ensure timely disposal of pending cases and seamless public service delivery.
Later, the DC visited Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Yaripora, where he evaluated the range and quality of medical services being provided to the public.
He stressed the importance of maintaining proper sanitation standards and instructed that the public washroom constructed by the Municipal Committee be made operational without delay.
While inspecting the hospital premises, he noted vacant spaces and an unutilized residential building and directed the Block Medical Officer (BMO) to prepare a comprehensive proposal for the optimal utilization of available infrastructure to enhance healthcare facilities.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue and the Chief Medical Officer accompanied the DC during the visit.
