Six buses damaged in Kupwara midnight blaze, no injuries

Kupwara, Apr 09 (KNO): At least six passenger buses were damaged after a fire broke out at the Kupwara bus stand in north Kashmir late last night, officials said on Thursday.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that six buses were damaged in the incident, while the fire and emergency services rushed to the spot and brought the flames under control.

He said three buses were completely gutted in the blaze, while three others were partially damaged.

“The cause of the fire remains unknown. Police have taken cognizance of the incident,” he said, adding that no loss of life or injuries were reported.—(KNO)
