GANDERBAL, 11TH, APRIL 2026: In a continued effort to ensure the welfare and well-being of police personnel, SSP Ganderbal Sudhanshu Dhama-IPS accompanied by Dy.SP DAR Shri Altaf Khan-JKPS, today conducted anĀ  interaction-cum-Darbar with the Jawans of District Police at DPL Ganderbal.

The Darbar was organized with the objective of directly engaging with the jawans and addressing their personal as well as professional concerns.
During the interaction, SSP Ganderbal patiently listened to the grievances and issues raised by the personnel and assured them that all genuine concerns would be addressed on priority with due consideration.

While addressing the gathering, *SSP Ganderbal* emphasized the importance of dedication and professionalism in discharging duties. He urged the jawans to remain vigilant and committed so as to effectively counter the nefarious designs of anti-social and anti-national elements. He further stressed the need to build public trust, maintain goodwill, and always extend compassion and support to the needy sections of society.
Highlighting the importance of welfare measures, SSP Ganderbal reiterated the department’s commitment towards ensuring the well-being of its personnel and assured that their issues would be dealt with earnestly.

Subsequently, SSP Ganderbal carried out a comprehensive inspection of various sections of DPL Ganderbal including PCR, MT, Clothing, Equipment, Quarter Guard, KOT, Stores, Mess, Canteen-cum-Recreation Hall, MI Room, Crime Section, Barracks, and MHC. He also paid rich floral tributes to the brave J&K Police martyrs at the Martyrs’ Gallery.

During the inspection, he directed supervisory officers and technical staff to enhance efficiency, maintain high standards of service, and ensure timely support to police personnel. He also instructed officers to personally monitor work and resolve the genuine grievances of their subordinates in a prompt and effective manner.

The interaction concluded on a positive note, with SSP Ganderbal extending his best wishes to all personnel for their dedicated service and commitment.
