Budgam, Jammu & Kashmir — Social Activist and Youth Leader Muzamil Mehmood participated in a Mega Padyatra at Budgam under the Nasha Mukht J&K Abhiyan.The event was held under the supervision of Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and the District Administration Budgam, aimed at raising awareness against drug abuse.
The padyatra saw active participation from youth, civil society members, and local residents, all united in their commitment to building a drug-free society. On the occasion, Muzamil Mehmood also took part in a signature campaign, reinforcing the message “No to Drugs, Yes to Life.”
Speaking during the event, he emphasized the importance of collective and sustained efforts at the grassroots level to tackle the growing menace of drug abuse. He highlighted that awareness, community participation, and youth engagement are essential in addressing this serious issue.
He further expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor for initiating the visionary 100-day campaign, noting that such initiatives play a vital role in mobilizing public support and strengthening the fight against drug abuse across Jammu & Kashmir.
The Nasha Mukht J&K Abhiyan continues to inspire people across the region to work together towards a healthier, safer, and drug-free society.
