Rinku Singh shares details of his conversation with Shah Rukh Khan after his outstanding performance of five sixes in an over in a match against Gujarat Titans.
Shah Rukh Khan, the Bollywood superstar and owner of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), is making headlines once again in the Indian Premier League (IPL). KKR has lost five out of the eight matches they have played so far in this year’s IPL. In this tough time, one player that has managed to shine is Rinku Singh, who smashed five sixes in an over in a match against Gujarat Titans some time back in Ahmedabad.
In fact, after the match, Shah Rukh dedicated a special post to Rinku on Twitter. Speaking of the same, recently, during the KKR Vs RCB match, Rinku revealed that Shah Rukh called him that night. He went on to say that Khan promised him to attend his wedding to dance.
In his words, Rinku had said, “He (Shah Rukh Khan) was talking about my marriage.” Giving more details, he added, “He (Shah Rukh Khan) said ‘People call me for their marriage, but I don’t go. But I will attend your marriage and dance’.”
Following an incredible performance by Rinku, Shah Rukh shared a picture on his Twitter account that depicted Rinku as Pathaan. In the caption, he praised Rinku and also congratulated Nitish Rana and Venkatesh Iyer for their outstanding performances.
In response to Shah Rukh’s post, Rinku expressed his gratitude towards the Bollywood superstar, addressing him as “sir” and thanking him for his unwavering support. Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan also praised the cricketer for his remarkable performance.
