GANDERBAL POLICE ARRESTED TWO MORE DRUG PEDDLERS IN THE JURISDICTION OF PS KHEERBAWANI; CONTRABAND SUBSTANCE RECOVERED FROM THEIR POSSESSION.
GANDERBAL 17TH JANUARY 2023 To eradicate the menace of Drugs from the society and taking Stringent action against Drug Peddlers, Ganderbal Police apprehended two more Drug Peddlers alongwith Contraband Substance under the jurisdiction of Police Station Kheerbawani.
The Police Party led by SHO PS Kheerbawani Insp. Mudasir Zaroo laid a Snap Naka at Hatbura, While checking two persons were apprehended with Contraband Substance. During questioning the accused disclosed their identities as Shabir Ah Ganie S/O Bashir Ahmad Ganie and Fayaz Ah Dar S/O Gh Hassan Dar, both residents of Kachan Ganderbal. The accused got arrest alongwith Contraband Substance.
In this regard, Case FIR No. 04/2023 was registered in PS Kheerbawani and further investigation has been taken up.
The swift action by Ganderbal Police has been applauded by the general public. Crackdown and Strict action against Drug Peddlers shall continue in future also and legal action will be taken against them.
