Two Kashmiri girls were honored with National Youth brilliance Award. A function was held at New, Delhi where around 17 states participated in the National Youth Exchange program from 18th to 20th August.
After the event 30 awardees, great personalities were felicitated with this prestigious Award.

Ms. Maroofa Shah was awarded in recognition of her contribution to society. Her voluntary service and helping the needy were applauded. Maroofa Shah resident of Srinagar Jammu and Kashmir works for different Non-Governmental Organizations.
Besides, she has recently completed her MA and B. Ed.
She presently works for NGO namely “Live for Others being helpful foundation’ where she holds the post of secretary (Kashmir province)
Her domains include Youth development, menstrual hygiene, environment and drug abuse.
Ms. Urfee Yousuf were also awarded in recognition of her contribution to society. Her voluntary service and helping the needy were applauded. Urfee Yousuf resident of Srinagar Jammu and Kashmir works for different Non-Governmental Organizations.
Besides, she has recently pursuing B.sc from one of the oldest and prestigious institution SP College of Srinagar.
She presently works for NGO namely “Live for Others being helpful foundation’ where she holds the post of Vice President (Kashmir province)
Her domains include Youth development, Education, environment, and drug addiction.
This event was organised by Kanyadaan Foundation in New Delhi for 3 days 18 to 20 August. Kanyadaan Foundation is a leading NGO in India. Mr. Hrishi Sardana or Young Pad man of the India is the President and Founder of this NGO. It was Fourth Foundation Day of this NGO. The main theme was on Menstrual hygiene and taboo in the society. Where Kanyadaan foundation made a world’s largest Sanitary Pad in three day programme.
While speaking with media Ms. Maroofa Shah said she is doing social work for the betterment of the society develop the skills in the youth, women empowerment is my main work and done it till last. While as Ms. Urfee said i always ready where nation needs. My main motive is to educate the kids (make all kids educated).
