Assistant Labour Commissioner Pulwama Hafsa Qayoom, along with other officers and officials, embarked on a comprehensive visit to different areas of District Pulwama. to create awareness among the general public, with a specific focus on unorganized workers, and regarding the upcoming Awareness Program organized by the Department of Food, Civil Safety and Consumer Affairs, District Pulwama.
The visit aimed at disseminating crucial information about the forthcoming Awareness Program scheduled for February 2nd and 3rd, 2024. The program is designed to facilitate the issuance of Ration Cards to the left out e-Shram Registrants (Unrecognized Workers) and provide an opportunity for necessary updates and changes, in compliance to the Hon’ble Supreme Court directions.
Assistant Labour Commissioner Pulwama emphasized the significance of Ration Cards and encouraged the public, especially unorganized workers, to attend the Awareness Program and subsequently approach the concerned Assistant Director, Food CS & CA for Obtaining or updating Ration Cards.
The officers and officials, under the leadership of Assistant Labour Commissioner Pulwama, engaged with local communities, addressing queries and clarifying the registration process.
