BGSBU celebrates National Girl Child Day
VC approved 50% tuition fee waiver for the only female girl child
January 24 is celebrated in India as ‘National Girl Child Day’ with the motto of spreading awareness about inequalities faced by the girls, promoting the rights of girl children and highlighting the importance of female education, health and nutrition. In recognition to the above occasion and its motto, the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University , Prof. Akbar Masood approved 50% tuition fee waiver for the only female girl child of any parent admitted in any academic programme at BGSB University with effect from the forthcoming academic session.
The move is hailed by the BGSBU fraternity and the civil society.
