Syed Karar Hashmi in his tribute remembered Late Aga Syed Mohammad Fazlullah Al-Moosavi Al-Safavi who was an international Muslim scholar, reformer, educationist, preacher, a Member of the world Ahlulbait assembly, Judge of the Sharia Court of Budgam, and also chairman of the Yousuf memorial Trust.
He observed that the late Agha Syed Mohammad Fazlullah was a leader of the masses, and his contributions to the religious, literary, social and cultural fronts are commendable. He never bowed down to the power of politics or the power of money and materialism, and the reason for the prominence of his spiritual, political, scholastic and academic personality was his sincerity in all his deeds.
He said further that the late Fazlullah never spoke any controversial thing which created any differences between Shias and Sunnis or any other religious group. He adorned many students with ornaments of Islamic knowledge and literature and provided them with the eternal capital of divine satisfaction and divine nearness, which will remain even after death.
Hashmi, studying at Qom Seminary, said that this great and pious man put all his weight on all the events for the cause of truth and he always defended the path of Islam Naab and worked for Muslim Unity with full might. His behavior in society and his humility in relation to the people made him a lovable figure, whose memories of his warm and intimate conversations and associations always remain in our hearts and minds.
He said that in order to prosper, we need to educate the masses and prioritize education over other things. His vision of education and societal development was unparalleled and the purity of his intentions is reflected in the fact that none of the schools he opened on his name or any of his relatives or family members.
“I will always remember him as a great Islamic personality who played an important role and dedicated his entire life to the upliftment of the downtrodden people of our community in different fronts especially education .
May Almighty Allah elevate his position in Jannatul Firdous ” . Hashmi said in his tributary note
