Mir Muskan Un Nisa Winner of more than 15 national and international honours, a Ph.D. Scholar from SKUAST Kashmir, Vice President of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, the women’s coordinator for Voice for Peace and Justice, and a lifetime member of the Indian Society of Horticulture and Agriculture scientist association sought the LG administration to rescind the recent change to the qualifications for the Range Officer post.

The fact that we are not qualified for this position after dedicating our entire lives to forestry and making every attempt to do so, according to her, is mere injustice.

We will not stop demanding what we want until it is granted, she stated, adding that our hearts are breaking.

We’ve sacrificed everything to forestry degrees, she continued. She confronted the government about how any individual who doesn’t understand forestry can handle it.
