Viksit Baharat Sankalp Yatra continues in full swing at Ganderbal

66 Panchayats covered in 11 days

GANDERBAL, DECEMBER 05: The Viksit Baharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) continues in full swing in district Ganderbal and has reached far-off Panchayats of Block Gund, Kangan and Lar thus covering 66 Panchayats since the launch of campaign.

Today, 6 Panchayats of block Lar were covered under VBSY which include Chuntwaliwar-B, Chuntwaliwar-C, Benhama, Manigam-A, Watalbagh and Wahidpora.

The venues presented a festive look with colourful cultural and sports events, Sankalp pledges. Besides presentation of success stories of beneficiaries, progressive farmers, entrepreneurs, on spot registration of beneficiaries and effective IEC campaign about centrally sponsored schemes was also held in these Panchayats.

Today IEC vans reached in these Panchayats creating awareness about welfare schemes related to sanitation facilities, essential financial services, electricity connections, PM Ujjwala Yojana, housing for the poor, food security, proper nutrition, reliable healthcare, KCC, PM Vishwakarma, clean drinking water, etc.

A lot of excitement was seen around the VBSY IEC vans, as the villagers from all walks of life thronged these venues of IEC vans to listen to the message of the Hon’ble PM of India and enthusiastically participated in VBSY activities.
