Baramulla, Dec 25, KNT: A man died while another suffered grievous injuries after the car they were boarded met with an accident at Baba Shukur Din Watlab area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that the driver lost control over the Wagon R (HR29AA6545) and it glided from the top and fell into the gorge.
The duo in the car were taken to hospital where one of them identified as Umar Zaki, a resident of Model Town Sopore succumbed to his injuries while another person Muhammad Iqbal Najar, also a local from Model Town Sopore was referred to SKIMS Srinagar for specialized treatment.
The vehicle in the incident was completely damaged.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident. [KNT]
