Srinagar, Jan 17 : In view of extreme cold weather conditions, Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) Wednesday extended winter vacation for all government and recognized private schools of summer zones of the region till January-19.
According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Director of School Education Jammu said that in view of extreme cold weather conditions, the winter vacations of government and private recognized schools functioning in summer zones of Jammu division are further extended till 19-01-2024.
Earlier, the directorate had directed all the teaching staff to resume their duties from January-08. “HOIs shall ensure classes for class 10 to 12th through online mode during the extended vacation period.”
DSEJ had said that any laxity in this regard from any government or private school will be viewed seriously and dealt under rules—(KNO)
