Man dies, two residential houses damaged in fire incident in North Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 22 – A man lost his life while as two residential houses were partially damaged in Khambiyar Pattan area of North Kashmir Baramulla district on Monday.

An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that during night hours fire erupted in a residential house at Khambiyar Pattan

He said that fire erupted in the house of Bashir Ahmad Dar son of Late Mohammad Ramzan Dar resident of Indergam and the rooftop of the said house gutted completely and in its close vicinity, rooftop of another house of Asadullah Ganaie son of Habibullah Ganaie resident of Indergam was partially gutted.

He said that later the burnt body of one boy namely Aadil Ahmad Dar (26) son of Late Mohammad Ramzan Dar resident of Khambiyar was recovered from the gutted rooftop of his house.

He further added that the Burnt body was sent to GMC Baramulla for medico-legal formalities and the apparent cause of fire is electric short circuit.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance and started investigation.(KS)
