Public Cooperation Important to Win War Against Drugs
SOPORE:Sp Sopore Divya-D (ips) said that the war on drugs is not against the public but against those who are involved in this trade and are trying to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere.
She appreciated the swift action of J&K Police especially Sopore Police in tackling the drug menace.
We have a deep understanding that how important public cooperation is and my officers always convey this to me and if we behave responsibly with the public they will cooperate in every situation,” she said.
She further appealed the general public to cooperate and inform police whenever they notice any drug peddling in the area so as to save the future of youth of the valley.
