Maharashtra tourist dies of heart attack in Sonamarg

Ganderbal, Feb 29 (KNO): A 63-year-old tourist from Maharashtra died of a heart attack while enjoying a snow bike ride in Sonamarg area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that Manohar Motiram Rajani (63) from Solapur, Maharashtra was enjoying a snow bike ride at Tajwqs glacier.

He said that Manohar fell unconscious during the ride and despite immediate efforts to save him, he was declared dead on arrival at Primary Health Centre in Sonamarg.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident—(KNO)
