Girl electrocuted to death in Srinagar’s HMT

Srinagar, Mar 02 (KNO): A girl died due to electric shock in HMT area of central Kashmir’s district Srinagar on Saturday, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a girl identified as Zeenat Nazir (15), daughter of Nazir Ahmad Sheikh, resident of Tangdhar Kupwara, presently residing at HMT Srinagar, received an electric shock and fell unconscious.

He added that, soon after the incident, she was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead on arrival.

Meanwhile, police have taken up the investigation—(KNO)
