Auto rickshaw driver killed in Srinagar accident

Srinagar, March 26: An auto rickshaw driver was killed in a road accident near Sonwar bagh in Srinagar on Monday late evening.

Official sources told Asian News Hub that an Auto rickshaw driver identified as Mohammad Ashraf Sheikh, a resident of Pampore was critically injured after hit by unknown vehicle near Sonwar bagh on Monday evening.

They said, he was rushed to SMHS hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and investigations are underway.
