DEO Ganderbal inspects facilities at various polling stations, also inspects arrangements for polling officials

GANDERBAL, MAY 12: In a proactive measure to ensure the comfort and efficiency of polling parties, the District Election Officer (DEO) Shyambir, today evening conducted thorough inspections of facilities designated for polling parties staying overnight at respective polling stations.

During the visit, accompanied by Additional District Development Commissioner, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani, the DEO inspected the facilities for polling parties including suitable accommodation, basic amenities, security arrangements, and adherence to all electoral guidelines.

By addressing any potential concerns or shortcomings in the facilities, the aim is to streamline operations and enhance the overall integrity of the electoral process.

The DEO meticulously evaluated the readiness and adequacy of facilities available at these polling stations and maintained that every effort is being made to ensure a fair and equitable voting experience for all.

On the occasion the DEO emphasized the significance of maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and efficiency and reiterated the importance of upholding the principles of democracy and ensuring that every eligible voter can exercise their right to vote freely and without any hindrance.

District Administration Ganderbal remains vigilant in its pursuit of a fair and just electoral system and has implemented robust measures to safeguard the electoral process.
