Shopian, 30 Aug: In a robust show of support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Javid Qadri, Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, BJP National Executive Member and senior party leader, led three election rallies across Shopian Assembly constituency today. Dr. Andrabi appealed to the public to cast their votes for Qadri, highlighting BJP’s commitment to a peaceful and progressive Jammu & Kashmir.
Dr. Andrabi reflected on Shopian’s transformation from a district plagued by violence and lawlessness to one where youth now pursue their dreams of development and self-reliance, the rallies witnessed the participation of numerous youth, many of whom joined the BJP,
While addressing the rallies Dr. Andrabi said, “I want to tell those dynasts who claim BJP has done nothing for J&K that we have liberated our youth from daily violence and shutdowns. Our young people are no longer losing their lives as they did under previous regimes. We have safeguarded the lives of our youth and envision a developed and leading J&K within our nation.”
Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi criticized J&K’s traditional political families and leaders, stating, “These dynastic politicians rely on hollow promises and divisive rhetoric, but the BJP has a genuine and equitable developmental plan for J&K. The claims of the INDI alliance that democracy is under threat in India are baseless. Democracy is in the spirit of India, and no one can undermine it. Unlike the opposition, BJP does not endorse emergency-style governance.” She added.
As the Jammu and Kashmir gears up for its Assembly elections, the BJP’s campaign trail, led by influential leaders like Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, aims to consolidate support and challenge other political strongholds.
