Saloora, who recently parted ways with Jammu and Kashmir United Movement (JKUM) just a few weeks ago, has been a prominent figure in Ganderbal’s political landscape. Before his brief stint with JKUM, he was affiliated with the National Conference (NC) for over 40 years. His long-standing association with NC has earned him considerable influence in the region.

When contacted by Daily MAQSAD, Saloora responded positively to the reports and expressed his openness to joining PDP. While he refrained from making an official statement, his response suggested that the discussions with Mehbooba Mufti are in advanced stages.
