Bear Attack Injures Two in Poonch
Srinagar, Oct 06 (NVI): A woman was among two individuals injured in a bear attack in the Fazalabad area of Poonch district on Sunday.
An official told NVI that the duo sustained injuries and were promptly transported to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Surankote for treatment.
They were identified as 80-year-old man Talib Hussain and a 40-year-old woman Zareena Akhter.
Meanwhile, the local wildlife department have advised residents to exercise caution in wildlife-prone areas and are investigating the incident further.
