Zojila:- A sudden snowfall at the Zojila Pass on the Srinagar-Leh Highway on Saturday has left approximately 100 tourist vehicles and several private cars stranded on Saturday evening.
Officials said that the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has swiftly mobilized snow-clearing equipment and deployed its 122 RCC/32BRTF BCN team to initiate a rescue operation.
They said the dedicated team is working tirelessly to clear the snow-covered road and ensure the safety of all stranded commuters. Close coordination with the traffic police and civil administration is underway to facilitate a smooth and efficient rescue operation.
