GANDERBAL 21ST, DECEMBER 2024 to curb the rising instances of fraud and to prevent misuse of mobile phone SIMs, District Police Ganderbal today launched a verification drive on SIM card vendors across the district.
The drive aims to verify the authenticity of documents submitted by subscribers and ensure that SIM vendors are adhering to the guidelines set by the Department.
The verification drive is a proactive measure to ensure that mobile connections are not misused for malicious activities as well.
