Ganderbal 24 Dec : In observance of the Good Governance Week (December 19-24, 2024), the Debating Committee of Government Degree College Ganderbal organized a seminar on the topic “Sashaksan Gaon to Aur: Need and Challenges” on December 23, 2024. The seminar took place at the College Conference Hall at 11:00 AM.
The program began with a formal welcome address by Prof. Mujeeb Kawoosa, who highlighted the importance of good governance in modern society and emphasized the need for focused efforts towards the development of rural areas. This was followed by a briefing by Prof. Mehvish, a member of the Debating Committee, who provided further insights into the theme of the seminar.
Dr. Shazia Qadri from the Department of English conducted the proceedings of the event. A total of eight students participated in the seminar, offering thought-provoking perspectives on the challenges and needs surrounding rural governance. The event was attended by a considerable number of students, fostering an engaging and interactive environment.
The seminar concluded with the distribution of certificates to the winners and participants in recognition of their contributions. Dr. Zeeshan delivered the formal vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all those involved in making the event a success, including the participants, organizers, and attendees.
