Srinagar, Jan 7, KNT: The Weather Department has predicted fresh snowfall in the Kashmir Valley between Friday, January 10, and Sunday, January 12, as part of a western disturbance expected to impact the region.
According to the department, moderate snowfall is anticipated across Valley during this period.
This forecast comes after the Valley has already witnessed several bouts of snow this season, which brought much-needed relief to water reservoirs and boosted tourism in the region.
The Weather Department added that the Western disturbance is expected to intensify starting Friday, bringing widespread precipitation to the region.
Authorities have advised travelers to stay updated on road conditions and weather alerts, as snowfall may disrupt connectivity in higher altitudes and passes. [KNT]
