Srinagar, Jan 18: In a beautiful act of charity, a group of daughters from the Valley distributed free hijabs, Quran Shareef, and other Islamic books today at Lal Chowk, near the Clock Tower, in Srinagar. The initiative, aimed at spreading religious awareness and supporting the community, was warmly received by the public.
The organizers carried banners with the message “Free knowledge for Akhirat” emphasizing their noble intention to help others in the pursuit of spiritual growth and knowledge. Many passersby, especially women, took part in the distribution, which also encouraged a deeper connection to Islamic teachings.
Local residents expressed their appreciation for the gesture and the timely support offered.
