Srinagar, Mar 19 (JKNS): An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was detected on the main road ahead of Sunset Point on the Bandipora Highway in North Kashmir on Wednesday.
A top police official told news agency JKNS that the IED was found by security forces during routine patrolling on the highway.
He added that a bomb disposal squad (BDS) was immediately pressed into service to safely neutralize the explosive.
