Ganderbal Police Continues searches in Multiple Locations across the District against Banned Organizations

GANDERBAL, 27 Mar: Ganderbal Police carried out multiple searches at various locations across the district today as part of an ongoing investigation into the cases related to the proscribed organizations (JKDFP) Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party and JK Muslim League (Masrat Alam Faction). Both these organisations were banned under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in October and December 2023.

The searches were conducted in connection with Case FIR Numbers 03 and 04 of 2024 registered at Police Station Ganderbal under Sections 10 and 13 of the UAPA Act.

During the searches, police teams raided the premises of several suspects associated with the banned outfits. The raids were conducted in multiple areas of the district including Check-Akhal, Kaw-Cheewan, Kangan, Preng, Sehpora in Ganderbal.

The ongoing investigation aims to dismantle the anti-national and separatist ecosystems by identifying and taking strict legal action against individuals involved in such activities.

Ganderbal Police assures that legal proceedings will continue and any individuals found to be supporting or indulging in unlawful activities will face severe action as per law.
