PDP delegation visits Aga Syed Mohammad Baqir’s residence to extend solidarity & offer condolences

“With Aga Sahib’s departure, a blessing has departed, closing a sacred chapter in our spiritual history”, Says Gh Nabi Lone Hanjura and Mohammad Khurshid Alam

Budgam, April 19: In a solemn display of respect and solidarity, a high-level People’s Democratic Party (PDP) delegation today visited the residence of revered scholar and spiritual leader Aga Syed Mohammad Baqir Al-Moosavi Al-Najafi, who passed away recently, leaving an irreplaceable void in Kashmir’s religious and social fabric.

The deputation, led by senior PDP leader Gh. Nabi Hanjura Sb, included prominent figures such as Iltija Mufti, Anjum Fazli, Basharat Bukhari, Wahid Para, Ab. Qayoom Bhat, Yasir Reshi, Iqbal Tramboo, Zuhaib Mir, Bashir Beigh, Manzoor Wani Sb, Kohsheen Sb, Dr. Ali Mohammad, Shafi Kundanghar, Fayaz Assad,Gh Rasool Malik, Omar Dar, Ishfaq Sb, and all office bearers of District Budgam.

The leaders extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, particularly to the respected sons of the departed — Agha Hassan Sb, Agha Mehmood Sb, Agha Rooh Ullah Sb, Agha Muntazir Sb — conveying sympathies on behalf of PDP President Mehbooba Mufti Ji and the entire party leadership.

Speaking on the occasion, PDP General Secretary Mohammad Khurshid Alam termed Aga Baqir’s passing as a monumental loss and a profound spiritual void for the community.

“I had the privilege of meeting this noble and revered figure whose wisdom, kindness and guidance were a source of solace and inspiration to all. His words reflected the mercy of Allah and his absence marks the end of a great blessing for us. My heart is heavy at this loss. All we can do is pray for his eternal peace and pledge to carry forward his message of unity, piety and brotherhood,” Alam said.

He further added that the PDP stands firmly with the bereaved family during this difficult time, expressing solidarity in heartfelt and resolute words and praying for the departed soul’s elevation in the hereafter.
