“Farewell to a One-Man Army: SSP Traffic Srinagar Muzaffar Ahmad Shah Leaves a Lasting Legacy”
JK News Live

Srinagar: The Traffic Department of Srinagar bid a heartfelt farewell to SSP Muzaffar Ahmad Shah, an officer admired as a “one-man army” for his dedication and leadership.

During his exemplary tenure, SSP Shah successfully managed traffic operations for major events, including the G20 Summit, two visits by the Hon’ble Home Minister, and three consecutive Amarnath Yatras.

He also handled the complex traffic arrangements during the Tulip Garden season for three years.

One of his notable achievements was overseeing traffic for Srinagar’s first-ever marathon, a landmark event that highlighted his ability to manage large-scale public gatherings with precision and calm.

His commitment extended beyond event management—he actively led traffic awareness programs in schools and on roads, aiming to instill road safety consciousness among the public, especially the youth.

Colleagues commended SSP Shah for his vision, discipline, and people-first approach, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and progress in Srinagar’s traffic management system.
