Ganderbal | May 15th, 2025 — The District Industries Centre (DIC) Ganderbal successfully organized a Mega Outreach Awareness Programme at Block Lar on May 15, 2025. The event focused on the formalization of MSME Udyam Registration under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) initiative. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from skilled and unskilled workers, artisans, existing and aspiring entrepreneurs, Self Help Groups (SHGs), and other stakeholders.
Bushra Ashraf, Functional Manager at DIC Ganderbal, informed the participants about the significance of Udyam Registration and its role in empowering MSMEs through government schemes. She highlighted the benefits of Udyam, including access to the Credit Guarantee Scheme, Public Procurement Policy, Government Tenders, and protection against delayed payments.
Prominent Social Reformer and Moderator of the event, Bilal Bhat, emphasized the transformative impact of Udyam Registration on local entrepreneurs. He urged participants to leverage this opportunity for business formalization, accessing financial and developmental benefits under various government initiatives.
The event also featured insights from CSC Manager Mr. Akthar Hussain and Block Lar officials, who spoke about the role of Common Service Centres (CSCs) in bridging the digital gap and apprised the public of various centrally sponsored schemes accessible through CSC platforms.
