Ganderbal Police secures rejection of bail pleas in multiple Cyber Fraud cases
JK News Live

Ganderbal Police successfully secured the rejection of bail pleas for four individuals; Rumaisa Jan, Ghulam Nabi Shah, Shahnawaz Ahmad Shah, and Aamir Bashir from the Principal District and Sessions Court, Ganderbal. The accused are allegedly involved in multiple cyber fraud scams.

The court’s decision highlights the seriousness of the charges, which involve large-scale financial fraud amounting to several crores, and reflects the potential impact on the ongoing investigation being conducted by Ganderbal Police.

The bail applications were denied due to concerns over possible evidence tampering, intimidation of witnesses, and the risk of the accused fleeing from justice.

With the investigation still in progress, the court’s order allows Ganderbal Police to continue gathering key evidence and building a strong case.

This development underlines the judiciary’s commitment to supporting law enforcement in the fight against cybercrime and protecting the interests of victims.
