Baramulla 11 June Wednesday: With deep sorrow, the passing away of renowned and respected Kashmiri singer Ustaad Ghulam Nabi Bulbul, who left for his heavenly abode today, 11th June 2025, at 6:00 AM.
Ustaad Bulbul was a legendary figure in Kashmiri music, known not only for his melodious voice but also for his humble nature and noble character. He was a long-time associate and an esteemed member of the Kashmir Singers’ Society, and his departure has left a deep void in the cultural landscape of the valley.
His funeral prayers will be held today at 10:00 AM in his native village, Batashan Dangiwacha, Rafiabad, and Fateha Khwani (special prayer ceremony) is scheduled for 14th June 2025 at the same location.
The Kashmir Singers’ Society mourns this irreparable loss and expresses its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. May Almighty Allah grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and bestow patience and strength upon his loved ones—especially his son, Sarwar Bulbul.
