FULL DRESS REHEARSAL FOR INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION HELD AT MADR-E-MEHARBAN QAMRIYA STADIUM GANDERBAL

GANDERBAL: 13TH AUGUST, 2025: In a vibrant display of patriotic fervour and meticulous preparation, the Full Dress Rehearsal for the forthcoming Independence Day Celebration-2025 was successfully conducted today at the Madr-e-Meharban Qamriya Stadium, Ganderbal.

On the occasion, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Shri Manzoor Ahmad Bhat-JKAS, accompanied by Additional SP Ganderbal, Shri Parvaiz Ahmad,unfurled the National Flag and took the salute at the impressive march past.

The parade was commanded by Dy.SP Shri Syed Azhar Ali-JKPS, with spirited participation from contingents of District Police Ganderbal, SSB, CRPF (115 BN & 118 BN), PTS Manigam, JKP Ladies Wing, Forest Protection Force, SPOs, Home Guard, and students from various educational institutions across the district.

Senior officers from both the Civil and Police Administration witnessed the event, adding to its ceremonial grandeur.

Following the march past, the audience was treated to a series of colourful and culturally rich performances presented by cultural clubs and school students, showcasing the diverse heritage and talent of District Ganderbal.

The rehearsal not only reflected the district’s readiness for the grand celebration on 15th August but also rekindled the spirit of unity, patriotism, and pride among all participants and spectators.
