IN CONTINUATION TO WAR AGAINST SOCIAL CRIMES;

J&K POLICE DISTRICT GANDERBAL ARRESTED 02 GAMBLERS IN THE JURISDICTION OF PP NAGBAL; STAKE MONEY AND PLAYING CARDS SEIZED

GANDERBAL 04TH, SEPTEMBER 2025

War Against Social Crimes Continue.

To eradicate menace of Social Crimes from the society; Ganderb Police arrested 02 Gamblers in the jurisdiction of Police Post Nagbal. Stake Money and Playing Cards were seized.

Acting on a reliable information, Police Party of PP Nagbal raided Gamblers at Malshibagh. On seeing the Police Party, the Gamblers tried to flee from the spot, but Police Party act swiftly and apprehended 02 accused persons on the spot alongwith Stake money of Rs.8000 and Playing Cards.

The Accused persons were arrested who disclosed their identities as; Bashir Ahmad Mir S/o Abdul Gaffar Mir R/o Gulab bagh Srinagar and Mohammad Amin Bhat S/o Gh Qadir Bhat R/o Malshahi Bagh Ganderbal.

In this regard, Case FIR No.139 of 2025, under relevant sections Gambling Act stands registered at PS Ganderbal and further investigation taken up.

Ganderbal Police is committed to eradicate the social crimes from the society & we again request people not to indulge in Anti-Social Activities and help J&K Police in eradicating dreadful menace.
