Majlis-e-Rehmat-al-lil-Alameen (S.A.W) conference organised by Anjuman Auqaf Jamia Masjid Srinagar in which renowned Ulemas from the valley participated in the conference in which the Ulemas through some light on the seerat mubarak of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi wasallam. The Conference was titled as “Wama Arsalnaka Illa Rahmatallil Alameen”.
The Majlis were scheduled to be chaired by Mirwaiz Kashmir Molvi Mohammad Umar Farooq but unfortunately Mirwaiz Kashmir was placed under arbitrary house detention.
In the absence of Mirwaiz Kashmir, the conference was later chaired by Moulana Rahmatullah Mir Qasmi Sahab Damat Barkatahum.
Other Ulemas which were present at the conference was Molana Shahzad Anwari Alqasmi Sahab Damat Barkatahum from Poonch, Molana Showkat Hussain Keng Sahab, Mufti Ghulam Rasool Samoon Sahab and Dr Syed Ur Rahman Shams Sahab.
The gathering was attended by the large number of devotees in which members from Anjuman Auqaf Jamia Masjid were also present.
Later on the Friday prayers were led by Molana Rahmatullah Mir Qasmi Sahab Damat Barkatahum.
