Jammu Kashmir Teachers Association (JKTA) Chandoosa Holds Meeting, Elects New Zonal President

Baramulla, September 25: In an effort to strengthen the organization at the grassroots level, the Jammu Kashmir Teachers Association (JKTA) Zone Chandoosa convened an extraordinary meeting at the zonal headquarters in Chandoosa, Baramulla.

The meeting was presided over by Provincial President JKTA, Ishfaq Ahmad Shah, and attended by District President Altaf Hussain Bhat, Vice President Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, and other senior members of the association.

After detailed deliberations, it was unanimously decided to elevate Shabir Ahmad Lone to the District level. Furthermore, Mr. Tahir Hussain Beigh was nominated as the new Zonal President JKTA Chandoosa.

Speaking on the occasion, Provincial President JKTA, Ishfaq Ahmad Shah, while felicitating the newly appointed zonal president, hailed his past services and expressed confidence that he will work for the betterment of the teachers’ community in a positive and dedicated manner.

District President JKTA, Altaf Hussain Bhat, in his address, emphasized the responsibility of the new zonal president to strengthen the organization at the grassroots.

District Vice President JKTA, Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, highlighted that these decisions aim to streamline organizational activities, empower teachers at the zonal level, and unify the fraternity. He expressed hope that the move will amplify the voice of teachers in Zone Chandoosa.
Mr Fayaz Ahmad Malik Tehsil President, Mr Shabir Ahmad Lone Ex Zonal President, Mr Tahir Hussain Beigh Zonal President, Mr Mohd Ashraf Lone also spoke on the occasion.

Meanwhile Shabir Ah Mir, Irfan Ah Khan, Nayeem Ah Beigh, S M Iqbal and scores of Teachers joined the association.

Mr Chowdhary Munaver Hussain and Mr Bilal Ahmad Lone Conducted the whole proceeding.
