Senior Congress Leader Haji Farooq Ahmed Mir Presides Over Workers’ Convention in Lolab

Kupwara, October 5: In a significant show of organizational strength, Senior Congress Leader and Vice Chairman of the District Development Council (DDC) Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmed Mir, presided over a well-attended workers’ convention in Lolab constituency here on Sunday.

The gathering witnessed the presence of senior Congress leaders, local representatives and hundreds of grassroots workers from across the Lolab valley.

The convention was called aimed to energize party cadres and bolster the Congress Party’s grassroots organizational framework in Lolab.

The attending speaker’s at the event underscored the importance of unity, community outreach and sustained efforts to address local developmental issues. Emphasis was laid on strengthening the party’s presence across every village and ward of the constituency.

During the event, Senior Congress Leader and DDC Vice Chairman Haji Farooq Ahmed Mir also launched a signature campaign as part of the ongoing “Hamari Riyasat, Hamara Haq” initiative. He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to continuing the campaign in the coming months, emphasizing its role in advocating for the democratic rights and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He state that the campaign would continue to gain momentum in the upcoming months.

Concluding the convention, party leaders called for greater mobilization at the grassroots level, urging workers to remain actively engaged with the public and to propagate the message and vision of the Congress Party throughout the constituency.
