Ganderbal 01 Mov 2025: Dignibal (Ganderbal), Jammu & Kashmir- Under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) of Sashastra Seema Bal, the 13th Battalior SSB, Dignibal organized the opening ceremony of the “Super 8 Cricket Tournament for the youths of the Kashmir Valley on 01.11.2025.
The event was inaugurated by Sh. Mukesh Singh Yadav Commandant, 13th Bn SSB, Dignibal, who encouraged the young participants to showcase their talent and play the game in the true spirit of sportsmanship.
In his address, the Commandant emphasized that such events foster unity, discipline, teamwork, and healthy competition among the youth and strengthen the bond between security forces and local communities,
Total 08 local teams from different parts of the Valley are participating in the tournament, which aims to promote sports culture, encourage the “Fit India’ and “Khelo India drive, and channelize the energy of youths towards positive and constructive activities.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed enthusiastic participation of local youths, SSB personnel, and community members. The event concluded with the Commandant’s message to play with dedication, honesty, and team spirit.
The initiative reflects the continuous efforts of SSB under its Civic Action Programme to build mutual trust and goodwill between the force and the people of Jammu & Kashmir, while inspiring the youth to adopt fitness and sports as a way of life.
